like the rest, this device does not work, unless you like wavy and distorted displays. I would not recommend that you purchase this product. The only reason why I rated this device at one star is because they didn't have 0 as an option.
It was just wavy black and white static garbage. I tried using this on three computers. I have hooked up the nVidia 6800 to the same TV using its proprietary connector, so I know that dual video is supported (be it either dual simultaneous digital or simultaneous digital and analog). A desktop with an nVidia 9300 chipset, a desktop with an nVidia 6800 graphics card, and an HP dv4t. I plugged it into an S-Video capable tube television, and NONE DISPLAYED AN IMAGE. Even after manipulating settings in each computer's video settings, no image appeared on the TV. Garbage.
i hooked it up using the rca video cable and it doesnt work. do i have to use the s-video and the rca at the same time.
It definitely does not work. I connect it from my VGA laptop interface to the TV with thr composite interface and I only get a gray screen with diagonal lines moving. I might be doing something wrong but after hours trying I cannot lose more time.
I tried this on my laptop and it did not function. I tried another laptop and it also did not function. We got involved in a move across the country, so I did not have time to work with it more than that. I tried a few more machines after we moved and could not get it to work.
